Bella Poarch's birth Filipino parents welcomed Bella in the Philippines in the Philippines on February 9, 1997. She was adopted at the age of three by her maternal grandmother who was a slum dweller. The father she adopted, who is Filipino-American with military background, has a white background and is American. She alleges that she, her adopted brother and their mother were abused when they were children, until she joined the military. Her family travelled from San Francisco for a few months in order to stay with her aunt, before relocating to Texas in the year 13 due to her father's requirement for bypass surgery. Her mother claims that the physical assault subsided but she was still dealing with the psychological abuse her father suffered at home. After 18 years of her life she joined an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch began her TikTok in the month of April, 2020 and quickly rose to fame. Poarch accumulated over 40 million followers in less that eight months. She uploaded various videos but her biggest hit was a music video featuring Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. This became one of TikTok's most watched videos. The video zoomed in on her dancing while lip-syncing to the track became viral. To capitalize on the fame she gained following her signing up to TikTok in December of 2016, Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Her popularity grew rapidly until the month of December in 2020. According to the reports, she piqued two professional Esports team's attention. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves have expressed interest to hire her as a content creator under their respective brands.
