Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible partner JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our clan. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram platform @annephung where I write about my experiences- the good, the bad and everything in between. My parents brought me into America in 1990, when I was just one-and-a half. It wouldn't be possible to share my life story today if my parents didn't work hard and make sacrifices. Since I was confident that I would have a brighter future I set out to succeed and make my parents happy. My life was set out: I would go to university, get an employment in a company as well as marry and then buy an apartment. My plan for success was to attend college, graduate and get a corporate job. Then I'd get married then buy a house, and have kids. Life had other ideas. In 2013, I found it difficult to accept my job. Although the salary and status were good but I did not feel that it was fulfilling. Instead I felt that I was spending my time. As I began to move to a new path in life I discovered that personal training was what I wanted to do. I'm a sucker for fitness, and I love being with people and help them. In 2014 I started my own business, and in the 2021 will see me celebrating my 7th birthday. Very few Asian women have a job in the industry of fashion. As a coach, my goal is to encourage others and empower them to live a healthy and enjoyable life by establishing healthy and sustainable living styles that meet the individual's goals and needs. I am also committed to empowering others so they can reach the goals they set, pursue their passions and live the life you've always wanted to live. When I began my professional profession, the loss of my mom was the most devastating hit to my personal life. In Heaven she rests now after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry my Mom with me and dream of her daily. Life really does have a way with giving us precisely what we require, even if we're not able to see the lesson at this moment. My loss has impacted my life in many different ways. I believe my death provided me with the opportunity to begin an entirely new chapter. She passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to start her new journey. I was given a second opportunity to live the life of a fulfilled and happy. When I reach my 30's, I feel more vibrant than I have ever. I can truly say that I am living my life now, rather than just existing just like I did before. My life is shared with my readers so that I am able to talk about my experience and words. It will allow you to realize that you're not on your own. It is possible to achieving anything you want to. Therapy is necessary and normal. The health of a person is the most important asset. I hope that you enjoy the life you want to live and that you die without regrets because death is the only thing promised to all of us during our lives.
