Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham in The Shoes from Seinfeld season 4. She played a cook known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in her first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone when she left the show due to her desire to be a part-time character in a larger part, was able to fill her. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 through 1996 as well as The War at Home between 2005 and 2007. In 2000, Barone was also a co-star on the show Daddio. Barone is also credited from television such as Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was the recipient of the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in The feature film One Last Ride. Barone's role as a regular on Shake It Up Disney Channel show Shake It Up started in 2010 three years after The War at Home finished its run. She played Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of Barone's character.
